Additions To My Collection

Hi!  It's been a while; the storms have passed and I'm on the mend.  Bravo!  There's been a little bit of action around here as far as deliveries, so I'd like to share them with you.

Wow!  I can't believe I haven't shown you this precious jewel yet, but then I just realized that I have not been sharing my incoming as well as I should have been.  So, with that said, please understand that these are all dolls from the past few months.  Ha ha, but I guess they still have been coming in fairly steadily.  I have been very fortunate in that I shop around and find the best deals that I can and I have found some "I can't pass this up" deals.  In fact, most of these fall under that description.  Lucky me!  These are not in the order of date purchased either; I didn't think this would be an issue for this posting.

Dolly Forever Barbie by Christian Louboutin  2009

 Mama is having fun with her camera learning the settings.  Believe it or not this fruit cake has only been using the "Auto" settings.  I just got tired enough of not being able to produce a high quality close up, so I set out to learn more about my camera.  Turns out, I have a really great one, I think!  So, please bare with me while you scroll through lots of Dolly pictures. :D

I've got to name her too!  She is Lanaya's sister from Dallas and she is not one to be reckoned with.  How about.....Rachel? Josey? Gwen?  Robin?  Oops!  That's it...Robin!  Ha Ha Ha Robin Scarfo Conner; you've got a name sake!   Let's make her an Archeologist like Harrison Ford!  She's quite literally a "Gold Digger".  Lol!  I'd better get some more men on the team here in Baytown.  I don't think Dillon, Eric, Blane and Brad can handle all of these women.  Oh my.  I might have to drag Rock Hudson and Vintage Repro Ken into the mix.  Oh and let's not forget Grandpa.

All righty then, we have a new citizen!  Yay!!!

I'm so happy that my collection has so many wonderful dolls in it!  I didn't even dream that I would be where I am today back in December last year.  I have been influenced by so many wonderful people that I have met on FaceBook, Flickr and Doll Observers, plus the many other wonderful blogs of my subscribers and places I have discovered.  A lot has happened since I first started collecting too!  You've watched me learn photography, decorating dioramas, making things for dioramas, learning how to paint dolls, learning how to do hair, make jewelry and sew things.  Thank you all so much for walking with me on this wonderful journey and sharing your kind thoughts and observations.  I'm not sure what direction my blog will go, it is a day to day experience.  I'm happy to take suggestions from you and help find information to help you with your doll collecting experience.  I love our community!
